Dharmendra wants Esha Deol to reconsider divorce with Bharat Takhtani, reveals reports

Following numerous rumors surrounding the strained relationship between Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani, particularly after the actress removed photos from her social media, the couple officially announced their separation on February 6. Recent reports suggest that while Hema Malini supports Esha's decision, Dharmendra is urging his daughter to reconsider, especially for the sake of their children.

Sources indicate that while Dharmendra supports his daughter Esha Deol and respects her decisions, he is concerned about the potential impact on his granddaughters. The sentiment was expressed in a quote featured on Bollywood Life: "No parent can be content seeing their children's family disrupted. Even Dharmendra ji, as a father, undoubtedly feels this pain. It's not that he opposes his daughter's choice to separate, but he encourages her to reconsider it."

According to reports, the veteran actor is concerned about the potential impact of divorce on his granddaughters, especially considering their close bond with both the Deol and Takhtani families. Sources suggest that Dharmendra is saddened by the situation and hopes that Esha and Bharat will reconsider their decision to separate. With two daughters, Radhya and Miraya, who share strong connections with both sets of grandparents, Dharmendra believes that preserving the marriage could be beneficial for the well-being of the children.

In an official statement addressing their separation, the couple stated, "We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this transition in our lives, the well-being and welfare of our two children remain our utmost priority. We kindly request that our privacy be respected during this time."

For those unfamiliar with their relationship, Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony in 2012. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Radhya, in 2017, followed by their second daughter, Miraya, in 2019.
