Kangana Ranaut sparks controversy with her explosive allegations regarding "prominent film personalities" engaging in hacking and illicit activities via the dark web.
Actress Kangana Ranaut has stirred controversy with her claims about the potential misuse of the dark web by certain individuals within the film industry. In response to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India's (TRAI) proposal for compulsory caller ID displays, Ranaut expressed her apprehensions about the dark web via Instagram.
In her Instagram story, the outspoken Queen actress asserted that "numerous prominent film personalities" are known to utilize the dark web, not only for accessing illicit content but also for hacking into individuals' communications such as WhatsApp and emails. While abstaining from directly naming any specific film personalities, she stressed the necessity for addressing such activities, advocating for action against the dark web. She emphasized the urgency by stating, "The Centre should take action against the dark web too. If they crack down on it, many prominent figures will be exposed."
