Madgaon Express Movie Review.

Madgaon Express Rating: 3.5/5

Madgaon Express Movie: Three childhood friends embark on a long-awaited trip to Goa, only to find themselves entangled in a chaotic adventure when a mix-up with a travel bag draws the attention of two rival mafia bosses, derailing their plans completely.

Madgaon Express Review: Dodo (Divyenndu), a man in his early 30s, is bursting with imagination but is unemployed. To fulfill his childhood dream, he persuades his friends Ayush (Avinash Tiwary) and Pinku (Pratik Gandhi) to accompany him on a budget-friendly trip to Goa.

However, their journey goes haywire from the get-go as they encounter a string of chaotic mishaps on their train ride. From brushes with drugs, guns, and gangsters to facing an all-female gang and evading the police, the trio finds themselves embroiled in increasingly eccentric situations. Despite the chaos, the film holds the viewer's attention, with laughter escalating as the story progresses.

Kunal Kemmu, a talented comic actor, demonstrates his directorial prowess with his debut film. Drawing inspiration from Hollywood hits like Pineapple Express and The Hangover, Kemmu delivers a zany comedy that leaves audiences laughing uncontrollably.

The film is packed with absurd situations, showcasing the trio's juvenile and clumsy behavior, both as awkward teenagers and clumsy adults in their 30s. Divyenndu shines as the motormouth among the friends, delivering witty lines with deadpan precision. Pratik Gandhi impresses with his physical comedy skills, while Avinash Tiwary surprises with his comedic timing. Upendra Limaye and Chhaya Kadam excel as mafia dons caught in a tumultuous relationship, while Nora Fatehi adds glamour to the film.

Kunal Kemmu deserves credit for crafting a stellar stoner comedy for his directorial debut. Despite not having worked together before, Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, and Avinash Tiwary showcase believable camaraderie on screen, portraying childhood friends who bicker but ultimately stand by each other. Overall, the film is a rollicking ride filled with laughter and camaraderie, making it a must-watch comedy.
