The team provided a sneak peek into the universe of 'The Test,' with Siddharth taking on the role of Arjun, a cricketer. Madhavan and Nayanthara's roles remain undisclosed. True to its title, the movie centers around an International Test Cricket match, exploring the events leading up to and following the game. Anticipated for a Summer release.

S Sashikanth, in his directorial debut with "The Test," written by Suman Kumar, previously renowned as a producer for notable films like Vikram Vedha, Iruddhi Suttru, Guru, Kaaviya Thalaivan, etc. Interestingly, he has previously achieved major success collaborating with 'The Test' actors Siddharth and Madhavan.

The recently unveiled BTS suggests a strong emphasis on cricket in the film, a sport cherished by many Indians. Consequently, 'The Test' is set to release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, with an anticipated theatrical premiere in Summer 2024.
