The song "Keemti" from Mission Raniganj was unveiled on October 3rd. This romantic track features Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra, who portray an on-screen couple in the film. The melodious song is performed and composed by Vishal Mishra, with lyrics written by Kaushal Kishore. ABOUT MISSION RANIGANJ

Mission Raniganj, directed Tinu Suresh Desai and produced by Pooja Entertainment, is a cinematic endeavor penned by Vipul K Raval and Deepak Kingrani. It draws its inspiration from the tragic 1989 Raniganj coalfields disaster that unfolded in West Bengal. The film spotlights the remarkable story of engineer Jaswant Singh Gill, portrayed by Kumar, who valiantly saved approximately 65 miners trapped in the calamity.

The ensemble cast includes Parineeti Chopra, Ravi Kishan, Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Varun Badola, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajesh Sharma, Virendra Saxena, Shishir Sharma, Ananth Mahadevan, Jameel Khan, Sudhir Pandey, Bachan Pachera, and Omkar Das Manikpuri.

Previously known as "Capsule Gill" and "The Great Indian Rescue," the film's title was eventually changed to "Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue." Audiences can anticipate its theatrical release on October 6th. Additionally, Kumar is set to appear in a series of upcoming projects, including the remake of "Sooraai Pottru," Alia Abbas Zafar's "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan," "Sky Force," "Hera Pheri 3," "Welcome to the Jungle," "Housefull 5," "Shankara," and the Marathi film "Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat."

On the other hand, Parineeti is gearing up to portray Amarjot Kaur in Imtiaz Ali's biographical drama "Amar Singh Chamkila," where she will be sharing the screen with Diljit Dosanjh, who plays the late Punjabi singer in the titular role. This film is scheduled for release on an OTT platform next year.
