On February 25, Rashmika posted two black and white mirror images on her Instagram without showing her face. In the caption, she explained that she couldn't reveal her full face as it's part of a new look for a film, and she's bound by confidentiality until her film team decides otherwise. She assured her followers that the shooting is progressing smoothly and wanted to update them on the matter. Additionally, Rashmika addressed rumors suggesting that she's not acknowledging her success in her recently released film Animal.


In her message, Rashmika expressed gratitude for the love and concern shown by her fans, acknowledging that it stems from a place of genuine care. Despite the overwhelming success of her recent film, she explained that her dedication to her craft led her back to the set immediately after its release, leaving little time for interviews or public appearances. She hinted at her involvement in a significant project, hinting at demanding travel schedules and the need for secrecy regarding her appearance until an official reveal.

In "Animal," Mandanna portrays the character Geetanjali, depicted as headstrong, a trait that could be perceived as emotionally challenging for an actor. However, Mandanna chooses to interpret it differently, describing it not as emotionally draining but rather as emotionally uplifting. "Animal" marks Sandeep Reddy Vanga's third directorial venture following "Arjun Reddy" and "Kabir Singh." The narrative revolves around a turbulent father-son relationship entangled in themes of revenge and retribution. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Anil Kapoor, and Shakti Kapoor in prominent roles. It premiered in theaters on December 1.




Rashmika’s work front


Rashmika has an impressive lineup of films scheduled for 2024. She is set to reprise her role in the Allu Arjun starrer "Pushpa: The Rule," which also features Fahadh Faasil in a lead role. Directed and written by Sukumar, the film is slated for a theatrical release on August 15. Additionally, Rashmika has signed on for "The Girlfriend," a film written and directed by Rahul Ravindran and produced by Allu Aravind under the Geetha Arts banner. Furthermore, she will star alongside Vicky Kaushal in "Chaava."
