Renowned actor Rituraj Singh, known for his contributions to the entertainment industry, has passed away on Tuesday, February 20th. According to reports from ETimes, the 59-year-old actor had been contending with a pancreatic ailment and was hospitalized subsequent to experiencing a cardiac arrest. Sadly, he lost his battle with the condition on Tuesday, leaving behind a legacy cherished by his fans and the industry alike.


Confirming the unfortunate news, Rituraj's close friend Amit Bhel shared with the entertainment portal, "Yes, he passed away due to cardiac arrest. He was admitted to a hospital some time back for treatment of pancreatitis, returned home, had some cardiac complications, and passed away." However, specifics about his final rites are yet to be disclosed.


Actor Amit Behl revealed to Indian Express that Rituraj Singh passed away at 12:30 am. Behl explained, “He was unwell. Was hospitalized 15 days back due to some pancreatic issues. Was back home a few days back, but yesterday was feeling really weak and they rushed him to the hospital. But he got the attack before reaching the hospital.”


Rituraj Singh's illustrious career encompassed various television shows, including "Banegi Apni Baat," "Jyoti," "Hitler Didi," "Shapath," "Warrior High," "Aahat," and "Adaalat," among others. He received widespread acclaim for his role in the popular show "Anupamaa." Additionally, he was seen alongside Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in "Badrinath Ki Dulhania."
