Remarkably, Shetty will become the first female police officer in Rohit Shetty's cop universe. Shilpa Shetty, currently preparing for the debut of her upcoming web series, Indian Police Force, recently shared insights into her preparation for the role. She disclosed that she drew inspiration from IPS Kiran Bedi, praising the former police officer for her commanding presence and unwavering dedication. In a statement,


Shilpa expressed deep respect for Bedi, emphasizing the passion and humor she brought to her role. Shetty admitted that internalizing the technical aspects of the character took some effort, but the influence of Kiran Bedi's distinctive communication style greatly influenced her portrayal.






Earlier, during the trailer launch event of the Indian Police Force, Rohit Shetty revealed that Shilpa was bedridden for three months due to a major fracture while shooting for the Indian Police Force. “Shilpa has really given her blood and sweat. In one scene, she got a fracture. She was at home for three months and I can’t say thanks to myself,” he said with a laugh.


In response, Shilpa expressed that while she had previously executed stunts in various projects, this marked the initial occasion where she sustained such significant injuries.


Joining the main trio, the web series features Isha Talwar, Nikitin Dheer, Shweta Tiwari, and Sharad Kelkar. The show is scheduled to debut on Amazon Prime Video on January 19, 2024.
