In a joint statement, Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani disclosed their decision to part ways. The former couple exchanged vows in 2012. Now, in her first public appearance following the separation, Esha casually conversed with the paparazzi at the airport.

Esha Deol was seen at the airport for the first time since her separation from Bharat Takhtani. Sporting a chic ensemble consisting of a white tee, denim jeans, and a stylish cap, the actress elegantly engaged with paparazzi, reassuring them that she was doing well.

In a joint statement provided to the Delhi Times, Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani revealed their decision to separate. They stated, "We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Throughout this transition, the well-being of our two children remains our utmost priority. We kindly request that our privacy be respected."

Reflecting on their journey, Esha and Bharat, who attended different schools, crossed paths during an inter-school competition. In a previous interview with News18, Esha shared, "I was attending Jamnabai Narsee School, while Bharat was studying at Learner’s Academy in Bandra. We first met at the inter-school competition called Cascade hosted by my school."
