A source closely associated with the news outlet has revealed that the script for this sequel is currently in development. However, what's significant is that Ananya Panday, who was part of the original cast, will not be reprising her role in the upcoming sequel. Instead, a different female actor will be chosen to take on the role of Kartik's 'Woh' in "Pati Patni Aur Woh 2."

The source further elaborated on the matter, stating, "Kartik and Bhumi will be coming together again for the sequel of 'Pati Patni Aur Woh.' Yet, Ananya won't be making a return, as the 'woh' character will undergo a transformation this time. Currently, the team is actively considering various options for casting another actress." The report also mentioned that the film is anticipated to commence filming early in the following year, specifically in 2024.
