AP Dhillon's Guitar-Smashing Explanation at Coachella Spurs Fresh Wave of Online Mockery

During AP Dhillon's performance, a notable moment caught attention as he smashed his guitar, triggering criticism from various corners of social media.

AP Dhillon made waves at the illustrious Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, a pinnacle of the music world. However, his show hit a sour note as he smashed his guitar, sparking a flurry of criticism across social media platforms.

Wednesday saw the singer's attempt at a response with a rather controversial Instagram post, which only fueled more online ridicule.

AP shared a series of candid Instagram photos, including one depicting the moment just before he smashed his guitar, with the caption: “The media is controlled and I’m out of control.”

A disappointed fan voiced concerns, urging Dhillon to recognize the cultural significance of musical instruments and to treat them with respect. They stressed that true musicians hold their instruments in high regard above all else.

In light of the controversy, AP Dhillon continues to be recognized for his notable tracks like “Excuses,” “Summer High,” “Dil Nu,” and “Brown Munde.” Additionally, his docu-series, “AP Dhillon: First Of A Kind,” premiered on Prime Video last August.

At Coachella, during his performance alongside songwriter-rapper Shinda Kahlon, AP Dhillon also paid tribute to Sidhu Moosewala with a rendition of their hit track “Brown Munde,” featuring the message “Justice for Sidhu Moosewala” displayed on the background screen.
